Celtic Oyster Extract
Naturally sourced in a sustainable manner from Ireland and carefully dried to maintain the integrity of the nutrients. Our oyster extract provides a wealth of nutrients, including bioavailable zinc, copper, selenium, iodine and B12. These minerals, trace minerals and vitamins play a key role in sustaining healthy collagen health, particularly zinc and copper. Zinc deficiency has been associated with hair loss whilst a copper deficiency has been associated with the loss of hair colour as it is essential for melanin production.
Wild Caught Marine Collagen
Wild caught and rich in Type I collagen. Type I collagen is the most abundant type of collagen in the human body and is found in various connective tissues, including skin, bones, tendons, and ligaments. Marine collagen is rich in several amino acids, with glycine, proline, and hydroxyproline being the most abundant. These amino acids play essential roles in collagen synthesis and are particularly important for maintaining the structure and integrity of connective tissues like skin, bones, and joints. Marine collagen also contains significant amounts of other amino acids such as alanine and arginine, which further contribute to its health benefits.
Organic Acai Berry
Organic and freeze dried to preserve the delicate nutrients, acai berries are rich in antioxidants, particularly anthocyanins, which give them their deep purple color. The antioxidants in acai berries can help combat oxidative stress and protect skin cells from damage caused by UV radiation and environmental pollutants. This may result in improved skin tone, texture, and overall appearance. Acai berries also contain naturally occuring vitamins C, E, B and minerals such as potassium, magnesium and calcium.
Organic Kelp
Kelp, a type of seaweed, and iodine, a trace mineral found abundantly in kelp, offer several benefits for nutrition, as well as skin, hair, and nail health. Kelp is one of the richest natural sources of iodine. Iodine is an essential component of thyroid hormones, which regulate metabolism and play a crucial role in growth and development. Adequate iodine levels are essential for healthy hair growth. Thyroid hormones regulate hair follicle function and can influence hair texture, thickness, and growth rate. Iodine deficiency may contribute to hair loss or thinning.
