What's inside our Clear Spiral Water Filtration System

Filter Technologies

chevron_leftchevron_right

Mechcanical Purification

The most fundamental form of filtration, where the pores in the filter capture and retain any particle larger than 0.05 μm (i.e. parasites, graphene oxide, microplastics).

Adsorption & Sorption

A method for eliminating viruses by taking advantage of the electric charges of the virus proteins to trap them in a filter material with the opposite charges along with physical and chemical attachment of particles.

Ion Exchange

A method by which electric charges in the filter material bind harmful ions such as heavy metals from the water. In combination with the other techniques, radioactive particles such as uranium and cesium-137 are also captured by the filter.

Calcite Removal

Captures calcite, the mineral that contributes to limescale deposits in pipes and kidney stones, while allowing its less problematic aragonite form to pass through the pores.

Bacteriostatic technology

In the form of pure silver integrated into the filter matrix, which prevents the growth of bacteria and viruses on the filter. The silver is integrated into the filter material on a microscopic level and cannot dislodge in the water.

Activated Carbon

Compressed under very high pressure and heated until it finally hardens into blocks. Removes substances like chlorine, PFAS, BPA and more than 80 other chemical substances.

Key Contaminants Reduced

Do you know whats in your tap water?

Absolutely love my water filtration system. It couldn't be easier to install, it looks great, and the water tastes fantastic. Especially great for being in a very hard water area. I also use it to water my house plants and they're thriving! Kate

We purchased an Elivide water filter and are over the moon with it. The water tastes great, the filters aren't difficult to keep track of when to change them, and the unit looks great too. The ordering, delivery and fit of the filter was easy and seamless. Couldn't recommend this enough. Ms C

About

Crafted using high quality stainless steel, our system sits on the countertop next to your kitchen tap where it connects. Filters will be pre-installed and only need tightening upon opening.

Contaminants and pollutants are removed by our water filtration system without adding anything to the water. The resulting water is very pure but still retains naturally occurring minerals and trace elements.

To connect our system you must be able to remove the aerator of your kitchen tap as this allows you to attach the main adapter. However, the universal adapter can be used to configure different sized threads.

When your faucet has a male thread (size M22x1), the filter can be mounted directly after the aerator is removed from your tap (most common generally). If your tap faucet has a female thread (size M24x1), then it is necessary to use the adapter for the inner thread. If the outside or inside threads do not fit, the universal adapter can be used. The universal adapter has an inside layer that can be removed if necessary to better fit the diameter of the faucet.

Filter Replacement Schedule

The first filter stage (Multi Spiral Filter) should be replaced every 9 - 12 months, depending on the incoming water supply quality. If the water flow through the filter becomes much slower, this signals that it is time to change the filter. This is because of the nano sized pores in this cartridge. Regardless, the filter should be changed within 12 months.

The second filter stage (Activated Carbon Filter) needs to be replaced more regularly, once every 4 - 6 months. Regardless, the filter should be changed within 6 months.

Suggested Replacement Schedule

If you are starting out and unsure which schedule to choose, we would suggest the following schedule initially.

Multi Spiral Filter - Every 10 months

Activated Carbon Filter - Every 4 Months

Please note discount codes are not available on this product due to a limited initial supply. This system is only currently available in the United Kingdom

Product FAQs

Find common questions and answers to our histamine metabolism support complex here.

Water is leaking out of the faucet connection

Make sure the adapter is screwed tight onto the tap. You can apply a small amount of self-bonding tape before connecting the adapter to help create a better seal.

Will this system lower the TDS of the water?

Yes, you may notice a 10-15% drop in TDS depending on incoming water quality due to the softening action in the Multi Spiral Filter.

The silver casings are difficult to unscrew?

They may be a little tough if you haven’t unscrewed them in a while. Try running the base under warm water and re-try. Once open, apply a small amount of vegetable oil to the screw base to make it easier to unscrew next time.

Where can I purchase more filters?

You can purchase or subscribe (suggested) to new filters here.

Does this system remove flouride?

Our tests show that the system removes 13% of fluoride from water. This is because fluoride is treated like a mineral and is present in many UK water in safe natural forms such as fluorite (CaF₂). It is worth noting that most parts of the UK do not fluoridate water.

Does this system work like a water softener?

Although the system removes harder mineral forms such as calcite and any mineral particles bigger then 0,1 MKM (which can be a strain for the body to process) it does not remove all of the calcium and magnesium, the two minerals that contribute to hardness and limescale. If you live in an area with very hard water (over 250Mg/l CaCo3), you may want to consider a water softener.

When should I expect to replace filters?

Most customers prefer to replace filters proactively to maintain water quality standards rather than wait for complete filter component degradation. Average Service Life is based on “normal” usage and average feed water quality. Actual filter life will vary with the frequency of use, total volume produced, and, most importantly, source water quality. If you are a heavy user or your water supply is of below-average quality, you may need to replace filters more frequently. The Multi Spiral Filter should be changed every 9 to 12 months and the Activated Carbon Filter every 4 - 6 months.
